Super Duplex Steel ERW Pipes are generally made up of Chromium (24–26%), Nickel (6–8%), Molybdenum (3–5%), and Nitrogen, with a well-balanced dual-phase (austenite + ferrite) microstructure. The composition gives excellent corrosion resistance, especially against chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. The pipes have outstanding mechanical properties such as high tensile strength (700–900 MPa), yield strength (500–600 MPa), and remarkable impact toughness. They are retained in their strength and corrosion resistance over a broad range of temperatures and pressures, which makes them suitable for serious and corrosive conditions within industrial processes.
