Super Duplex Steel Coil Tubing has a dual-phase (austenitic-ferritic) structure and is usually composed of UNS S32750 or S32760. About 25% of it is chromium, 7% is nickel, 3.5% is molybdenum, and tungsten and nitrogen are added. Excellent resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and crevice corrosion is offered by this composition. With a yield strength of about 550 MPa and a tensile strength of up to 800–1000 MPa, it provides excellent mechanical strength. Additionally, the tubing has good weldability, fatigue strength, and outstanding impact resistance. Because of these features, it is perfect for long coil lengths operating continuously in harsh mechanical and environmental conditions.
