Stainless Steel Welded Tubing is usually manufactured using SS 304, 304L, 316, or 316L grades, which provide outstanding corrosion and oxidation resistance. The tubing has a tensile strength of approximately 515–750 MPa and yield strength of 205–500 MPa based on the grade and heat treatment. Elongation percentage is between 30–55%. These tubes are produced using strip welding, with subsequent heat treatment and polishing for a smooth interior and exterior finish. They contain a chemical composition of chromium (18–20%), nickel (8–12%), and minimum carbon content for enhanced weldability.
