Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger Tubing is generally produced from grades like 304, 304L, 316, and 316L having Chromium (18–20%), Nickel (8–12%), and low Carbon. These tubes are very resistant to corrosion, have good thermal conductivity, and mechanical strength. The mechanical properties consist of tensile strength between 500 and 750 MPa, yield strength between 200 and 450 MPa, and good elongation (30–50%). The tubing is fabricated to endure high temperatures, fluctuation in pressure, and harsh media, providing long life service and efficiency in heat exchange systems in all industries.
