It contains good mechanical properties like a tensile strength of 515–750 MPa, yield strength of 205–550 MPa, and elongation of approximately 35%. The tubing works well in high-stress conditions with a Brinell hardness of up to 200 HB. The most popularly used stainless steel grades are 304, 316, and 316L, which offer excellent weldability, formability, and resistance to scaling and oxidation.
