The tensile strength ranges from 515–750 MPa, yield strength ≥205 MPa, and elongation of approximately 35%. Titanium content ensures that carbide is not formed, increasing weldability and long-term stability at high temperatures (up to 870°C). 316Ti also retains strength and ductility under constant exposure to high heat, and is best suited for welded, pressure-bearing, or heat-affected areas.
