It provides tensile strength of 515–690 MPa, yield strength of approximately 205 MPa, and elongation of up to 40%. 316Ti instrumentation tubing is good in elevated temperature applications up to 870°C, with excellent resistance against oxidation, pitting, and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking.
