It provides tensile strength of 515–750 MPa, yield strength of approximately 205–290 MPa, and elongation of about 40%. 316Ti tubing is resistant to crevice corrosion, pitting, and oxidation, and supports mechanical strength in high-temperature applications up to 870°C, thus being suitable for usage as a heat exchanger.
