Stainless Steel 316Ti has 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and 0.5% titanium added to ensure stabilization. The alloy provides superior corrosion resistance, particularly in acidic and chloride-rich environments. The tensile strength ranges from 515–750 MPa, yield strength ≥205 MPa, and elongation of approximately 35%. Titanium content ensures that carbide is not formed, increasing weldability and long-term stability at high temperatures (up to 870°C). 316Ti also retains strength and ductility under constant exposure to high heat, and is best suited for welded, pressure-bearing, or heat-affected areas.
