253MA Stainless Steel About 20–22% chromium, 10–12% nickel, 1.4–2.0% silicon, 0.14–0.20% nitrogen, and trace rare earth elements for improved oxidation resistance are all present in the pipes that Vipul Pipes and Tubes supplies. The alloy has an elongation of more than 40%, a yield strength of more than 310 MPa, and a tensile strength of about 600 MPa. These pipes are perfect for use in extremely hot environments because they have excellent creep resistance, good weldability, and a long service life under thermal cycling conditions. They also maintain excellent structural integrity at temperatures as high as 1150°C.
