Vipul Pipes and Tubes’ stainless steel 17-4 PH pipes are made up of 15–17.5% chromium, 3–5% nickel, 3–5% copper, and 0.15–0.45% niobium, with iron making up the remaining portion. This stainless steel that has been precipitation-hardened offers exceptional corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. With roughly 10% elongation, it reaches a yield strength of over 1170 MPa and a tensile strength of about 1310 MPa under H900 conditions. These pipes are perfect for applications exposed to high pressure, high temperature, or corrosive environments because they retain their structural integrity and hardness (up to 40 HRC) up to 600°F (316°C).
