Monel Welded Pipes consist mainly of nickel (63%) and copper (28–34%), with traces of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. The alloy offers superior resistance to seawater, acids, alkalis, and oxidation at elevated temperatures. They have high tensile strength (up to 100 ksi), yield strength (35–60 ksi), and good impact toughness and elongation. Although a bit weaker than seamless types, welded Monel tubes have great weldability and are appropriate for most structural and pressure applications. They remain long-lasting and resistant to corrosion even in extreme conditions.
