Monel EFW Pipes are made up of around 63% Nickel and 28–34% Copper with traces of Iron, Manganese, Carbon, and Silicon. This gives them excellent resistance to alkalis, acids, and seawater. They have mechanical properties such as tensile strength at around 550–750 MPa and yield strength above 170–345 MPa based on the Monel grade. The pipes also have good weldability, strength, and high ductility over broad temperature ranges. Their electric fusion welded form ensures integrity of structure and uniformity and hence is dependable for high-pressure and critical applications.
