Hastelloy Welded Pipes consist chiefly of nickel (up to 60%), molybdenum (13–17%), chromium (14–22%), and other trace elements such as iron, cobalt, and tungsten, depending on the grade. They possess high tensile strength (up to 785 MPa), yield strength of 283–355 MPa, and high elongation (up to 50%). They show good resistance to oxidizing and reducing substances, chloride pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking even in high-temperature and acidic services.
