Hastelloy C276 generally consists of Nickel (57%), Molybdenum (15–17%), Chromium (14.5–16.5%), Iron (4–7%), and traces of W, Co, Mn, V. It possesses high resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and crevice corrosion. The tubin has a tensile strength of approximately 690 MPa, yield strength of about 283 MPa, and elongation of 40–45%. Its excellent mechanical stability and corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing conditions make it suitable for the harshest industrial conditions. It is also non-magnetic and has a high strength in a broad temperature range.
