Hastelloy C276 Pipes consist of Nickel (57% min), Molybdenum (15–17%), Chromium (14.5–16.5%), Iron (4–7%), as well as traces of cobalt, tungsten, and vanadium. The pipes have tensile strength of about 690–785 MPa, yield strength of about 283–355 MPa, and elongation of 40–50%, depending upon the condition. The alloy exhibits very good resistance to oxidizing and reducing agents, pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and sulfur compounds, even under high-temperature and acidic conditions.
