Mechanical characteristics include a yield strength of 450 MPa and a minimum tensile strength of 620 MPa, which are nearly twice as high as those of austenitic stainless steels like 316. The tubing has exceptional resistance to erosion, fatigue, stress corrosion, and cracking caused by chloride. It is appropriate for demanding industrial settings because of its dual-phase structure, which guarantees stability in harsh environments and over a broad temperature range.
