Copper Nickel Instrumentation Tubing has Copper (Cu: 90% or 70%), Nickel (Ni: 10% or 30%), with small traces of Iron (Fe: 1–1.8%) and Manganese (Mn: 0.5–1%) added to provide strength and resistance to seawater.
Mechanical Properties:
Tensile Strength: 320–520 MPa
Yield Strength: 100–240 MPa
Elongation: 30–45%
Hardness: ≤ 100 HRB
These properties render the tubing well-suited for instrumentation lines that are subjected to vibration, corrosion, and pressure in industrial and marine applications.
