Carbon Steel SAW Pipes are manufactured from carbon steel plates that have carbon (0.20–0.30%), manganese (1.00–1.60%), phosphorus (max 0.035%), and sulfur (max 0.035%). They possess better mechanical strength and weldability. The standard mechanical properties are a yield strength of 240–415 MPa and tensile strength of 415–760 MPa, depending on the type and specification. Their uniform structure and thick walls give them the capability to work at high pressure and transmit fluid.
