Carbon Steel API 5L X70 Pipes contain chiefly carbon (up to 0.28%), manganese (1.0–1.65%), phosphorus (up to 0.030%), sulfur (up to 0.030%), and minute amounts of vanadium, niobium, or titanium to increase strength. These pipes have a minimum yield strength of 485 MPa and a minimum tensile strength of 570 MPa, with remarkable elongation and impact resistance.
