Aluminium Seamless Tubing is usually manufactured from top-grade alloys like 6061, 6063, and 7075. They contain mainly aluminium (90–98%), with magnesium, silicon, zinc, and copper being added to increase strength and corrosion resistance. The seamless construction has greater pressure bearing capacity and superior mechanical performance. Tubes have tensile strengths up to 550 MPa (7075), very good elongation characteristics, and satisfactory fatigue resistance. They may be heat treated to obtain a range of tempers and hardness from soft to hard, providing flexibility for a broad spectrum of demanding uses.
