Aluminium 1070 consists of nearly 99.7% pure aluminium with traces of iron, silicon, copper, and other elements. It is a ductile, soft alloy with excellent formability and resistance to corrosion. The alloy also possesses a tensile strength of approximately 70–100 MPa and yield strength of 30–50 MPa, with high elongation (over 20%), which makes it ideal for bending and cold working.
