Alloy Steel Coils Tubing consists largely of the following elements like Chromium (0.5–9%), Molybdenum (0.5–1%), Carbon (0.1–0.3%), supplemented by Nickel, Manganese, and Silicon based on the grade from which it is produced. This mixture provides high strength, thermal resistance, and corrosion protection. Typical mechanical properties are tensile strength of 415 to 620 MPa, yield strength of 205 to 415 MPa, and elongation of up to 30%. These coil tubes also possess good formability, toughness, and resistance to fatigue, which makes them applicable in high-pressure and high-temperature service conditions.
