A671 CC60 Carbon Steel Pipes are produced from plates that are in accordance with ASTM A516 Grade 60, usually containing carbon (0.18–0.27%), manganese (0.55–0.98%), phosphorus (max 0.035%), sulfur (max 0.035%), and silicon (0.13–0.45%). They possess a minimum yield strength of 240 MPa and a minimum tensile strength of 415 MPa with good ductility, weldability, and toughness. They are subject to additional testing like impact testing and hydrostatic testing to guarantee safety and reliability under pressure and fluctuating temperature environments.
