Hastelloy Coil Tubing mainly consists of Nickel (Ni), Molybdenum (Mo), Chromium (Cr), Iron (Fe), and Cobalt (Co) and displays excellent resistance to reducing and oxidizing agents. It has tensile strength of approximately 690 MPa and yield strength of about 310 MPa and elongation of 40–45%. It displays excellent ductility and toughness even at very low temperatures. It is also non-magnetic, highly weldable, and maintains structural strength under thermal stress, so it is best suited for use in corrosive and high-temperature conditions.
