Duplex Steel Seamless Tube is usually made of around 22–25% Chromium, 4–7% Nickel, 3–5% Molybdenum, and the rest Iron, with small additions of Nitrogen and Manganese. This makeup provides the tube with a two-phase microstructure consisting of ferritic steel’s strength and austenitic steel’s corrosion resistance. Its mechanical properties are high tensile strength (620–850 MPa), yield strength (450–550 MPa), and superior fatigue and stress corrosion resistance. The material provides excellent weldability, impact strength, and chloride corrosion resistance due to which it is the best-suited material for high-pressure demanding applications and corrosive environments.
